The claim Ethiopia used a 3rd party satellite launcher and hence doesn't belong to it

It amounts to claiming Ethiopia doesn't own its own port and as such anything that it imports over a third party port shows that the import doesn't belong to it.
Thanks to the ubiquitous availability of the internet we are these days "blessed" to see first hand how stupid people can be and yet readily show that to the rest of the world.
If we see, then we also believe: there are so many stupids around us.
According to some sources in the internet as of today there are just 11 countries (indluding the European Union, and none of them in Africa) which have got a launching facility of their own whereas there are around 70 countries upto date that have got satellites rotating on their own orbits in the space (among them 10 African counties).
