Debre-Birhan will take over Addis in a matter of 10-20 years no doubt. The optimism and desire to do that by Shoan Amharas is hard to ignore. What is most important is the people's and officials positivity despite daily adversary rehotorics. Could the empire builders pull it once more? It remains to be seen. Jimmy fills that they are capable to do it since the sentiment is more to work than talk endlessly on what the enemy did yo them

Re: Debre-Birhan the future African magnificent metropolitan
I saw this coming long before today. When investment activities are curtailed left and right around Addis and nearby towns, it is natural that the flow goes to where it is respected and welcomed. Now that investors have seen things move in the right direction in and around D.Birihan, more is to come. The TPLF boys will in no time will start talking how the Amharas are unfairly attracting investment to their kilil..

Try on Bahri Dar instead. Never been there but judging from the picture, it looks a hell of city with Palms and Fresh water around it. It has the potential to be the French riviera.Misraq wrote: ↑16 Dec 2019, 14:23Debre-Birhan will take over Addis in a matter of 10-20 years no doubt. Love to hear their usual cry with execuses to their jealousy and mean attitudes sometime after two decades.Za-Ilmaknun wrote: ↑16 Dec 2019, 17:00I saw this coming long before today. You are right, I was under that thought till a few months back. But I was blown away by investors interest on Debre-Brihan. Bahirdar is a very beautiful and clean city with lakeside and all sort of scenery that adds beauty including the palm trees, flat surface....etc
