It’s a great honor and pleasure to address the 9th African Caribbean and Pacific states summit from the worlds Environmental Capital Nairobi. I would like to extend special thanks to the People and Government of Kenya for the warm hospitality extended to my delegation since our arrival.

Our delegation would also like to extend special recognition to the good service of the out going ACP Secretary General Doctor Patric Gomezand the state of Eritrea thanks you earnestly for all the things you have accomplished successfully during your tenure up to its very end.

The state of Eritrea congratulatesthe incoming Secretary General, Ambassador Giorgis Pinto Chickoti of Angola and besides wishing you all the success.would also like to assure you our full support during your service to ACP.

The State of Eritrea gives high regards to ACP’s partnership with European Union, However Eritrea gives emphasis to entra ACP partnership and Solidarity against politicization of developmental engagements.



The state of Eritrea calls up on member states to work towards stronger ACP through active participation, timely payment of dues and voluntary contributions, and creation of lean organizational structure.

In conclusion, Eritrea endorses the revised Georgetown agreement that would serve the interest of all ACP member states equally and guarantees sovereign equality.

Eritrea endorses fully the declaration and commends the secretariat for the hard and excellent work and for the job well done.

I congratulate you dear president for the successful 9th ACP summit and hope like others in Eritrea, shall be on the side of the new ACP summit leadership and our side for the next 3 years.

I wish all delegates safe journey back home.

WHO Eritrea and European Union Collaboration Meeting

Today, the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Eritrea, Mr Gabor Iklody accompanied by Elisabetta Pietrobon, head of political, press and information section who recently arrived in Eritrea paid an official working visit to WHO Office in Asmara. Dr Martins Ovberedjo, WHO Representative to Eritrea gave them a warm welcome and held a fruitful collaborative meeting with them that focused on strengthening health partnership between EU and WHO to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Eritrea.

During the consultative meeting, there was candid discussion on the existing political commitment for health by the State of Eritrea, high community participation and commitment to life saving interventions in the country which has been instrumental in the progress recorded by the health sector in Eritrea.

The consultative meeting identified important technical priorities for consideration that will enable WHO Eritrea and EU to strengthen support to the State of Eritrea in the near future including:

• Cross-border collaboration and support to strengthen International Health Regulation and health security
• Multi-sectoral collaboration to track Eritrea’s implementation of UHC/SDGs at national and sub national levels
• Support to strengthen health information system (targeted support to conduct population surveys, civil registration, and analysis of population based data system).
• Support to strengthen human capital development to enhance production of critically needed specialized health cadres
• Support to strengthen zoba (District) health system to deliver quality essential health services.

The WHO Representative to Eritrea, Dr Martins Ovberedjo in his comments appreciated the EU for its readiness to support Eritrea and expressed WHO readiness to work together with EU to benefit the people of Eritrea in the several identified health priority areas.

The meeting also acknowledged that the government of the State of Eritrea has made profound progress on health using domestic own resources to implement cost effective inter-sectoral interventions in health with evident improvement.

Both parties agreed on the need for the urgent support to strengthen district health systems, health security and support to strengthen health information system and national health observatory.

Danakali Ltd (ASX:DNK) (LON:DNK) CEO Niels Wage speaks to Proactive London's Andrew Scott following the news Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has agreed to a US$50 million strategic equity investment.

The subscription agreement with AFC will facilitate the start of project execution activities.

Colluli is fully permitted and construction-ready, with both the EPCM contract and senior debt documentation well advanced.

ክቡራት ኣሕዋትን ኣሓትን፣ ወዲ-ሰብ ኣበይ ተወሊዱ ካበይ መጺኡ እንታይ እምነቱ/ስነ ልቦንኡ ክንደይ ትሕዝቶኡ ተማሂሩ ድዩ ናይ ትምህርቲ ዕድል ኣይረኸበን ሃብታም ድዩ ድኻ [ብትሕዝቶ ማለተይ እየ] በዓል ምሉእ ጥዕና ድዩ ጸገም ዘለዎ ብዘየገድስ ወዲ ሰብ ጥራሕ ብምዃኑ ክቡር እዩ። ስለዚ ነተን ኣብ ዓለም ንነብረለን ኣዝየን ሓጸርቲ ዓመታት ጽልእን ቂምን ሓሶትን ምትላልን ምድንጋርን ትዕቢትን በለጽን ስስዐን……ወዘተረፈ ኣወጊድና ሓወይ ሓፍተይ እናተባሃሃልና ተኸባቢርናን ነንሓድሕድና እናተሓላለናን እናተሓጋገዝናን ህይወትና ብፍሕሹውን ሕጉስን መንፈስ ነሕልፎ። ምኽንያቱ ወዲ ሰብ ብፍላይ ዝኾነ ፍጡር ድማ ብሓፈሻ ኣብ ዓለም እንኮ ሓንቲ እዋን ጥራሕ እዩ ዝነብር።

ከምታ ካብ ማህጸን ኣዴታትና በዘይ ዋንነት ቛንቛ እምነት/ሃይማኖት ስነ-ልቦና ባህሊ ልምዲ ………ወዘተረፈ ጥራሕና ዝተወለድና ክንመውት ከሎና'ውን ኣብ ዓለም እንታይ ዓይነትን መጠን ንብረት/ንዋይ ይሃልወና ብዘየገድስ ብሰልስተ ሜትሮ ዓለባ ጥራይ ተገኒዝና ኢና ነዛ ዓለም [ገነት] ንዘልኣለም ንፋነዋ!!! ኣብ ዓለም 100% ሓቀኛ ማዕርነትን ፍትሒን እንተ ኣልያ እታ እንኮ መወዳእታ ህይወት ውዲ-ሰብ [ሞት] ጥራሕ እያ። ምኽንያቱ ንኹሉ ፍጡር ከየዳለወት ብማዕረ ወሰን ኢላ ኣብ መጨረሽታ ገዝኡ ኳሕኲሓ ስለ ትበጽሖ። እቲ ኻልእ ምእንቲ ዘረባ ኢልካ ዝጽወ [ዝዝረብ] ኩሉ ሓሶት እዩ። ስለዚ ኣብ ዓለም ንዝተወሰነ እዋን ሓንቲ ግዘ ጥራይ ስለንነብር፣ በቲ መተካእታ ዘይርከቦ ኽቡር ህይወትናን ህይወት ኣሕዋትናን ኣሓትናን ኣይንጻወት!!!
