Only folks like weahiyeee aka puzzinet aka present aka እሽኮለለለለ ወሼ buys it.
Seriously?? No one even dare to condemn? Is this the effect of utter ignorance or backwardness? Men!! It is a daunting work to civilized some society. Last time I checked there was the mother of six women claimed she is St. Mary and had earned her few die hard followers. Please someone educate the women ... Where is those in Gonder medical school educators? How far is Dangela from Gonder?
It is an umbilical cord around the poor baby girl neck and it is common across the globe ..... she is lucky mom that her baby survived. Just let’s blame the midwife who preformed poor delivery.

There is nothing out of the ordinary here. In an ever growing media landscape, there will always be certain outlets that try and cover social stories claiming supernatural or divine origins. This is what's known as tabloid journalism. Such outlets exist in every civilized country even when majority of the population is secular or educated.
Maybe if you experienced a freer and wider range of media outlets developing in your country, you would be able to see similar stories from similar tabloid outlets as well. That would help you better understand the normalcy of such things and not be as concerned as you seem to be.
And I hope that happens for you soon.

About a month ago, a baby boy was born in Adwa holding a computer mouse on his right hand. We Weyane believe it is a sign from our great leader Meles Zenawi to remind us to keep fighting against the Shabo until we create our Greater Tigray Republic.

It's just a YouTube channel that includes news stories, not an actual news organization. Their entire 'Shukshukta' segment is based on spreading gossip they have no reliable evidence for but do so anyway for views and clicks. Common when competition is growing for the same audience.
If you want western examples of such behavior, you can look at The Sun in the Australia/UK or the DailyNews in New York that exercise the same lack of standards and they are actual print news organizations with actual news-desks. Such practice is only easier for online outlets and eventually the market will correct them. So again, nothing to get yourself so worked up over.

we are warned by our good source in addis that crime is rampant in addis and specifically after 9 p.m. hence, it ain't safe as it used to be. As a result we cancelled our flight to astobia reassessing and seeking other safe countries.
As you know, a tourist whether an eritrean or a burkina fasoan or what have you is always cautious. He/she never risks one's life.
