These are speculative questions of yours. while I have no problem with most of them,
the third question dealing with imprisonment of NAMA leaders is very problematic.
If you think the murder of ADP leaders is not worth investigating, we will have a country
in which laws and orders are not protected. The ADP leaders were selectively ( All four were Gonderes)
murdered in a broad day light. There were physical, video, audio and digital evidences to connect the murder
with some of these NAMA leaders.
These activists and some NAMA leaders were conspiring and recruiting
the accomplices to kill these ADP leaders. This murder was not political, as it was instigated by some hateful "Gotegnas"
activists who were able to manipulate General Asamnew Tsige to carry out the killings.
These regionalist activists had believed, that these Gondere ADP leaderswere were taking all the ADP positions.
That is why they had targeted them selectively by manipulating Asamnew. . The June 15 murder of the ADP leaders,
was one of the most divisive issues that has continued to divide the Amhara people as well as the diaspora community.
Sad to say majority diaspora activists believe that the June 15 murder was the conspiracy of the government ;
although the overwhelming physical evidences prove otherwise. As a diaspora political activist for over thirty years,
I have never seen an issue as divisive as this one. Political activists in diaspora have been unfortunately rally behind the murderers.
They believe that Genereal Asamnew Tisge, who organized the Amhara especial Police Force to carry out this
heinous crime is considered a hero. Sadly, he was the victim of Gojam Gotegna's manipulations who fed him wrong information,
that these ADP leaders, were conspiring with the government to remove him from his position as a head of the security.
And some NAMA activists were actively organizing this crime. The Federal and Amhara Police crime investigators
believed that they have evidences to prove their guilt. We will see how it plays out in the court of law. And no perpetrators
will be released without the due process of the law. Although all suspects are innocent until proven guilty, we don't
ask the government to hastily release them for some political pressure. There are many family members and many people
who were touched and affected by this crime. We do not condone this type of crime in our country, either civil or
political leaders. I hope you all understand the pains or sufferings of the family members and the love ones of these victims.
Therefore, one of your question is wrong and insensitive to say the least. You should have sympathized with the victims instead
of aligning yourself who organized this crime. If this type of murder is not fully investigated and the perpetrators are not
brought to justice, there is no guarantee anyone in any region (Killil) will live and work peacefully.
