Abiy's demerit can't hide his being Oromo (as long as he claims that he is Oromo. Endorsing is different). So even with his demerit regarding Oromos' freedom from habesha colonial hegemony, for he was born and raised in the egalitarian Gada system of democracy, he qualified for noble prize. In essence, therefore, it is a culture he was born in that made him able to win the award. Hence, it is different from perspective of your analysis.

"dunce is blabbering?" Good question but bad expression. Anyways, my advice is that you should not hesitate to learn till you will understand it. If not, just go to someone native speaker and ask for its explanation.
