Ogaden National Liberation Front(ONLF) was unfortunately an ally of ISSIS Afewrki, president of Eritrea.
ONLF was allying with Egypt and other anti-Ethiopia forces. This is unfortunate and basically TPLF had sympathy for ONLF. ONLF was attcking Ethiopia by allying with Egypt.

ONLF should see it's own past mistakes and ally with federalist forces, including with TPLF. There is no future for ONLF in Ethiopia without Federalism. There is no future for ONLF in Abiy's Ethiopia.

ONLF failed when it stuck to its clan only while isolating itself from the numerous other clans in somali kilil.
With or without tplf, they would not get very far, nor would the idea of allying with them be accepted by ogadenis or somalis- [i'd assume this to be so].
