My response to the question in the heading may not be straightforward. Whether dissolution of EPRDF is an opportunity or threat to continuity of Ethiopia as an Empire essentially depends on the role to be played by political and military forces of nations from Oromia, Tigray, Somali and Eritrea.

For very obvious reason, TPLF must get out of its half heated move and make strong ally primarily with OLF, SLF (Sidama) and ONLF. The horizontal stretch started by both TPLF and OLF may not be most productive as compared to establishing direct relation. It is beyond shadow of doubt that Amhara (Col. Abiy led regime) declared war on nations and nationalities embedded in Ethiopian Empire.

Eritrea must be able to remember the era of her being hit by Amhara’s regime named Dergu (Col. Mengistu) and forthcoming Col. Abiy led Amhara regime. If Col. Abiy is allowed to succeed and establish itself, in inevitably, Eritrea will be considered 14th province of Amhara’s Ethiopia or at least Assab port will be snatched from Eritrea and made part of Wello (Afar) province. So Eritrea’s role, without considering consequences of Bademe war, should be far sighted on its national interest and be able to contribute to stop Abiy’s deceptive move. I do hope, even in the case of Bademe war, it was Amhara hypocrites’ calculation that led TPLF into such suicide and put Eritrea in such tight position.

Nevertheless, joint effort of Eritreans, Oromos, Tigraway, Sidama and Somalis including other oppressed nations will uproot colonial regime in Ethiopia make nations free of such colonialism.

Forget Eritrea, one way or the other will not make any difference. Tigray and Oromo are enough because so long both go the rest follows but there is a problem with Oromo that is unity, the qero problem right now is they do not want to fight their own because of the division among them. Tigray it is one pool for any decision, no fragmentation to any decision they make.

Contrary is what I think. Please follow me effectively and verify on your own means but not be deceived by media. Nearly two years a go I wrote to this forum that OPDO never stand by its own. I said OPDO never enjoy substantial support from Oromo nation and said I that it is gonna merge with G7 (alike) or keep going with its mater creator TPLF. I said this because most members of OPDO are Afaan Oromo speaking non Oromos (head to tail: Abiy, Addisu Arega, Taye, Shimelis, Alemu Sime etc are few top level examples). We all Oromos at all walk of life know this being designed by TPLF for its then purpose. You can search and read this.

Hence, dissolution of OPDO is never a worry. I tell you it is an opportunity to get out of confusion for the last some Oromos in that camp. And, as long as there is clear demarcation, for the Oromos it become known who belong to us or not.

If you are willing to avoid non-reliable media and wanna go to legally declared sites such as WWW.Qeerroo.Org, you will learn about QBO and its goal. Other things are either tactical or deception.

The question, instead is, if Tigray determined its destination as one nation. Some contemporary questions arise. For instance, why is TPLF not willing to admit its transition period mistake and establish Trustworthy relation with OLF?

Apparently, Oromo is at better opportunity at this time. In fact, to fight alone with state supported enemy is not easy for the Oromos. That is the only reason we expect to do your part. At any rate I can tell you dissolution of OPDO is an opportunity for us to clear internal termites and get into the real fight in dire. So, effectively work on your side and let us meet somewhere at Tana lake.

Thanks for the clarification in depth about the Oromo, we just see they speak Oromo but we do not know what a true nationalist Oromo see within. Tigrayans like me and many nationalist and educated Tigrayans are very mad about woyane leaders to have any kind of hidden negotiation with Amhara because it is destroying the trust with other ethnics and everyone is telling debretsion to come forward and tell openly to Tigrayans and all ethnics. Many veteran ex leaders and fighters told the current leadership not to negotiate the blood of Tigray. Woyane is at the corner by the Tigrayan nationalists at home and abroad and you saw yesterday Debretsion forced to tell in detail and what Tigray should be because he knows if they do not do that it is very dangerous for their own and families lives.

If so, I feel comfortable but your leader seems still in dilemma. His press release seem open to many criticism from Oromo perspective. Any ways, as long as you did your part and it say, it means TPLF might expect to be further pushed to Axum, this time by you Tigrawi guys but not by qeerroo.
