Some Ethiopians regions like Sidama have been under oppression of the Menelik policy.
Under Menelik and Haile Selassie, the Sidama was seen as second citizens.
The Sidama paid heavy sacrifices to be where they are now.
The world consumes coffee from Siamo and the people of Sidamo had no control of their coffee.
The future is bright for Sidama people! They can control their finances and resources , help them selves and befor helping others.

Re: Congratulations to the people of Sidama for becoming a regional state
Sidama are not for secession from Ethiopia. They will fight to bring back The Red Sea to their home country Ethiopia. Becoming a regional state does not mean becoming a country. Autonomy of regions helps control resources better.
