Well, to be honest, TPLF has been irrelevant ever since Qeerroo, Fano and others, chased them back to mekelle.
So whether or not they join this new EPP party, doesn't matter.
If they secede, it will be a process, it's not just overnight and boom we're our own country.

There are disputed things such as land [amara and tigray border isn't settled, many amara still want wolkait and other lands back], and then on top of that they have yet to withdraw from badme.

After the death of ur beloved Zena, TPLF was in no position to give a middle finger to anyone. Kalas. They should not have participated in the executive committee meeting. But they somehow hoped some ODP members would line up with them against the merger and hence decided to play Russian Roulett with Abiy. They reducled themselves in front of the whole world. Boycotting the assembly meeting is just another futile attempt to stay relevant. TPLF cadres like urself know this, we know this and the Ethiopian people knows this.

TPLF has done many grave mistakes. But EPP is not the alternative. EPP is a traitor group which has been working with Egypt and Eritrea to overthrow TPLF-EPRDF. Ethiopians want TPLF back to power, because they would like to have leaders who develop their economy and industrialie Ethiopia.

EPP will be slowing down all the development programme if any because the enemies of Ethiopia do want Ethiopia to develop economically. TPLF was a robust nationalist group dedicated to the industrialization of Ethiopia, making Ethiopia a middle income country by 2025 (original plan) , which was possible. With EPP, the Nile Dam will be dismantled. Ethiopian Airlines will be privatised etc The Amhara will dominate our cultural and political life. There will be Amhara bureau crats running Somali, Afar, Oromo. Tigray might resist but there will be an Amhara security officer controlling Tigray etc. The universities will be controlled by Arat Kilo so that they do not become better than Amhara Universities. The Oromos will be most affected as they are close to Amhara.
