The root cause of the problem is the inaction of the good dr on the criminals in Mekele who are sponsoring all the chaos.
I wonder if the good dr is incompetent or complacent or both. It’s sad his inaction is costing innocent people’s life’s.
He sound like a spectator when he talks, not as a leader where the country he is leading desperately needs solid leadership.

With all good intentions he has and with all the convictions he has about the united, prosperous Ethiopia, what he is lacking is hands-on leadership. Yea he got a lot on his plate, and I know he needs to pick his fighting selectively, but not to have his own party which he leads to act in opposition to his stand is not forgivable. And He can't blame anyone for this dismal failure. jawar has security briefing just like a prime minster from high echelon ODP members. They have reversed policies whenever jawar objected to it -- with their classical phrase "we will never negotate" For good or bad we will see how he will lead once EPRDF became a united party, but one thing is for sure it is not going to be business as usual.
