Any time you here Yejju just know it’s a assimilated Christian habesha semetic speaking “Yejju which that word is semetic not oromo cushitic”
Yejju = Semetic
Later the Gallas and Ahmed Gragn destroyed Christianity in the Yejju Angot woreda and it became Muslim
Then the Galla migrated and brought paganism and their Gallalangaueg and clothes into Yejju and assimilated them
Later on the yejjus would become muslims and would be a Royals intermarrying Amhara Christian kings.
Haile Selassie wasn’t Oromo he was 100% Habesha Orthodox Christian he has no Koshasha blood

Bakafa/Akafa means shovel in Amharic
Betul
Gugsa
Wale
= Yejju Oromo names
Butul is a Oromo name. Taytu Betul is of Gojjame and Yejju descent the Yejjus were a semetic Christian people before Ahmed Gragn who converted the semetic Yejjus literally a semetic name into a Muslim Province then the Gallas came and assimilated the natives and gave them Oromo names the same thing that occurred in Raya.
Amharas intermarried with the Yejju princes and converted them to Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity accordingly
