Here is the dog that helped kill the ISIS leader

The United States has released a picture of the dog that was sent into the tunnel in al-Baghdadi's hiding place - which led to the death of the terrorist leader. The dog was injured during the operation, but is now back in service, Donald Trump tweeted.

When the ISIS leader heard the fire- fight, he ran into a tunnel with three of his children, Donald Trump said during a press conference on Sunday's nightly operation against Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. As the soldiers feared that he was wearing a suicide vest, a dog was sent into the tunnel, which resulted in the terror leader blasting himself and the children.

The dog was injured during the operation, Trump said at the time. Now he has released a picture of the dog on Twitter, which he describes as the

wonderful dog who did a great job of catching and killing the IS leader.

However, Trump did not want to reveal the name of the dog, as it risks revealing his trainer's identity. The dog, a Belgian shepherd dog of the Malinois variety, is still part of a secret military operation, announced Army Chief of Staff General Mark Milley on Monday and must therefore remain anonymous at this time.

Can be aggressive on command

The US military often uses Belgian herding dogs, to guide and protect troops. They look for enemies and look for explosives. The breed is hailed for its intelligence and ability to be aggressive on command,

Ron Aiello, president of the American War Dogs Association, told The Guardian magazine.

There was also a Belgian shepherd dog, named Cairo, which participated in the raid that killed al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in 2011. President Obama met Cairo and paid tribute to him, during a ceremony.

Eventhough Trump didn't say his name, after the killing of Baghdadi this weekend by US forces, experts have appointed- Abdullah Qardash - a former military officer under Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein as IS's new leader.



Already in August, the Middle East Monitor newspaper reported that the IS leader had chosen Qardash as his successor, by appointing him responsible for "Muslim affairs" within IS. However, the terrorist group has never openly confirmed the information.

Yesterday, the US military confirmed the killing of IS spokesman Abu al-Hassan al-Muhajir. That raid happened separately, from the operation against al-Baghdadi.

However, it is unclear if it may be the operation against al-Muhajir that Trump refers to in his tweet.

New elections will be held in the UK, on December 12. This, since the opposition's obstructions have finally been defeated with a bang.

All the trouble to implement Brexit, has now come to an end. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has renegotiated an exit agreement, although it was said to be impossible. Johnson has since got Parliament to approve the new exit agreement, which was deemed impossible.

And now Johnson has got through new elections, which many people said he would not succeed. In addition, with 438 yes votes against 20 no's in the British Parliament in London on Tuesday night.

The new parliament and government appointed after December 12 have the major task of implementing Brexit, which comes into force by 31 January 2020.

The exit is now irrevocable. Britain, will leave the European Union.

According to opinion polls, Boris Johnson has a good opportunity to win his own majority in the election.

It looks bright, for the British.
