Self inflicted isolation and its purpose
Wedi Medhin Berad used self inflicted isolation to crease a sense among the population, that the country is under siege and the entire world is against Eritrea to incite the people to rally behind the leadership irrespective of its shortcoming. With the arrival of Dr Abiye to Asmara though, the most important deceptive layer/mask the dictator used to his advantage was pilled/removed. Yet, Despite he is totally naked and there is no one with any with a common sense who buy his previous stunts any more, the dictator is a shameless alcoholic junk who embarrass the nation and its people by receiving world dignitaries in some kind of Tent wearing worn down clothes and a homeless mans shoes.
African leaders are in Sochi Russia to make deals with the giant EuroAsia nation and here is the alcoholic junk receiving one nameless insignificant UN official in his tent wearing a bumb*s cloth to give the impression that the alcoholic junk is a man of the people and the country is progressing under his leadership. Some Wedi Medhin berad anuxxus lickeres, mercenaries and junior cadres are claiming that nation is achieving millennium goal when the reality is like the fellowing.
Internet penetration rate in Eritrea is Only 1.3% of the Eritrean population or 73 000 citizens has access to internet which makes the country, the least internet penetrated country in the entire world.
Eritrea is among top countries who has the lowest human development index, Even countries like Liberia, Congo Kinshasa and Afghanistan has better human development index that Eritrea.
The country on which private citizens don't have the right to import and export commodities....Even in the future, Ethiopians will have higher chances to import and export their commodities via Assab than private Eritreans to do the same thing via Massawa port.
If this is indeed progress, I wonder what is the meaning of regressing?
