The real reason is the fact people aren't afraid of the useless weak army anymore. The Ethiopian army is weak and pathetic today and is no different in terms of power to the Congo army. They don't have light weight attack aircrafts such as A10s

What Ethiopia needs is a dictator leader who doesn't take a [deleted] of what this tribe or that tribe wants (like mengistu) but a leader who is equal opportunity abuser or an equal opportunity who treats all tribes equally.
For god sake there are over 80 ethnic groups and it is freaking hard for any leader if these nut cases keep on pulling his leg towards their interests.
Ethiopians need to count themselves as ethiopians and not Amhara, Oromo, agames etc.
If you can't do that why the f**k don't you all excersise article 39 and be led by your own ethnicity leader, fly own flag, sing 80 different national anthem, speak the same language under your leader.
