2. In typical tplf cyber cadre fashion, we see you siding with the enemies of Ethiopia as usual. And your other username weyzero present who claims to be an ardent Ethiopian nationalist, is quiet as you side with those who want to see Ethiopia engulfed in conflict. what do u think about this statement bold, but at the same time a reckless statement from a Nobel peace laureate
if u ask me Dr. Abiy doesn't have strong Nile dam negotiation team .... he replaced the Tigray negotiation team with Amhara .. the Amhara are not good at negotiation .. look what they mess they r doing with oromia .. anyhow the Amhara have ARab hate the ARab can see throw them..
what Dr. Abiy should do is send oromo negotiation team who speak Arabic .. this would be half the battle win. second explain to the Egypt people the benefit of Nile dam how the dam protect the Egypt people from flood and benefit them from sending year round regulated water.. never ever talk about how the dam benefit Ethiopia always talk how the dam benefit Egypt ..
not only that do some research how America paid Canada to build dam inside Canada so the international river will not flood America ... mind u Egypt should have paid us to build dam just like america do.. not only that the Egypt should also paid us to plant tree... because more tree means more water....
the only benefit that the negotiation team must tell to Egypt how the Ethiopian poor stopping cutting wood because the electric power if they stop cutting wood that mean Egypt will get more water because the tree attract more rain..

but the Ethiopian government also must put aside money for media to work on Egyptian mind ... one simple example is to ask Egyptian on street a cow born in between Egypt and Ethiopian border .. her mouth is in Ethiopia side and the cow udder is in Egypt side .. the question is who get the milk ? for sure they have to share it because otherwise the Ethiopian guy will not feed the cow...and the cow will die but collect the Egyptian answer ..
there are many this kind of story that can teach the Egyptian public to share the Nile with the source countries..
next negotiation plane is to conduct a war room before u engage with the Egyptian ...
when Egyptian said something u must be ready for counter reply..
for example when the Egyptian said Nile water is our blood.. then u must be ready to reply counter punch line would be if Nile water is blood for Egypt then Nile water is our soul ...
when the Egyptian negotiation team said one drop of water less means million Egyptian dying water thirst
u counter punch this one saying u r talking hypothetically but Ethiopian died in million because of drought and female while Nile river flow under their foot..

I don't know if the statement is reckless though to the point and taking clear defined starting position. The other side have also been doing the same publicly now for some time, mainly because of acute internal problems from the cheated Egyptian youth communities waiting for their turn to settle the scores with the military leadership folks. Here the the issue is offering choices between the Carrot and the Stick as incentives for changing behavior. If both go for the sticks then war is the chosen mode of influence which I think is impossible. that is what i am telling u the Arab are not reasonable people they will never negotiated in good faith .. if they do they would have been peace in Israel...
as i said if they r reasonable they would have understood war is not the way but they will have filed day about Dr. Abiy stick forgetting the carrot part.. so instead of saying reckless statement it is better to show their statement is reckless.. this way we always have moral ground to tell them war is not winnable and we explain to them in በእርጋታ
for example they will tell u they going to bomb the Dam.. instead of saying we going to bomb their dam u have to explain to them bombing the Nile dam backfire because if u bomb the Nile dam Egypt will be flooded and million of people will die .. explain to them it is not possible to even bomb the nile dam..
