Ethiofederalist ECS of AG7 vs Confederalist PAFD of OLF vs Ethnofederalist EPP of ODF in the Coming Election 2020

Yesterday’s speech of Dr. Abiy reveals that EPP as merger party of EERDF will continue to be Ethnofederalist, keeping the existing language based federation. When I hear how Ob. Leenco Baati of the ODF was involved in promoting the Medemer/Ida’amu/Synergy project of the PM, it is clear that ODF is part of EPP. Few months ago, about six Ethiofederalist parties like AG7 merged and fostered a consolidated strong party (ECS) as preparation for the election 2020 in Ethiopia. Contrary to this, Confederalist forces like PAFD are still fragmented. Surely, the ruling party will be challenged by these two opposition camps. Ethiofederalists are trying to repeat the CUD (Qinijit) phenomen of 2005. Do Confederalists continue as fragmented as they are now or will they come together and forge a strong opposition to challenge the incumbent and Ethiofederalists? Time will show us. Anyways the competition during the election 2020 will be between Ethiofederalist ECS vs Confederalits like OLF vs Ethnofederalist EPP. Who can prevail will be seen. Can Confederalists like the OLF, ONLF, SLF, BGLM, GPLM and TPLF foster common front and challenge both ECS and EPP or can the TPLF join PAFD to form a competitive Confederalist camp?
