Speaking of marketing ploys, did you know that the man the Nobel is named after is Alfred Nobel? Guess how he made his fortunes? He was a arms dealer who invented TNT and other weapons of mass destruction. He sold those nefarious inventions to tyrants around the world, he is on the Mount Rushmore of the military-industrial complex. When he was about to pass, he wanted to wash the bloody legacy he had on his hands, so he weaponized his money and initiated a marketing plan. The Nobel Peace Institute was literally a way to reinvent the legacy of a war profiteer.

Goes to show, there is a vast difference between peace marketer and peace maker::

thank you for the link, which I couldn't tell from when it is. Probably, it is from before a year or so, you can correct me, if I oversaw something.

I didn't say that there must be some liars who are propagating such a false claim to cause havoc in the country and divert the people's attention to a different issue than what can take us a step forward, without having a different view on it.

My source of information is the recent speech of President Sahele-Work Zewdie at the reopening of the Ethiopian Parliament of this Ethiopian new year (joint-session of both Houses) where she said: "from those who were displaced in their millions at the beginning now remains only just 100s of thousands, who didn't return home yet" (I couldn't locate the video but I tried to recite here words here as precisely as i can).

Now you can tell me that it was Her Excellency who was fabricating something or those Internet Arbegnoch bent on fabricating everything possible on any single day of their life to cause havoc in the country and try to catch-up on the occasion to tend to their ambition.

Did these 100s of thousands deserved to be displaced? No, absolutely no one single individual has deserved to be displaced in his/her homeland. That is tragic, already, in my view.

How much is hand of the government in the displacement itself? I am not sure, but with some degree of certainity there are many of those who are making the loudest voices about their displacements now, are those who were also directly involved in causing the displacement in the first place.
