In social systems theory, there is a principle known as the principle of counter-intuitiveness. The principle simply states that actors produce unintended consequences. The reason is that human social systems are purpose driven; that is, one group's motives are matched or countered by other group's intentions. In this sort of social dynamics, the future is not predicted, it chosen. So, when the Oromo elite's desire to disrupt the Orthodox church will produce its opposite effect because the intent is evil. Those Oromos who dislike Orthodox are protestants. Those Oromos who like Orthodox can teach and preach in Oromo language. So, why the need for separate synod? That is the evil intent. Now they have turned everything into suspicion and distrust. አላማቸው የተበላ እቁብ ሆኗል !
