Zanzibar is a kilil in Tanzania same as beni shengul in neighbor ethiopia.
Historically, Zanzibar was a separate state until it joined Tanganica during the Neyrere rule.
When it was incorporated into Tanganica, it was officially announced that the new country's name immediate officialy is: TAN-ZANIA and which is derived from the 3 first letters namely Tan for Tanganica and Zan for Zanzibar combined in one word.

Really??? I have never seen you happy with any positive news about Eritrea. If you are Eritrean, you never belittle your country's achievements. You can only answer why you behave like that. The boys can beat only what is in front of them. Actually, they matched Uganda and Sudan who were ahead of us and they won many matches. I am sure if Eritrea were beaten by Nigeria or Ghana, you would not have said that Eritrea is small emerging nation. In terms of football we took a deep plunge. I am quite impressed with the performance of our boys. What I saw is hopeful young footballers doing just fine. It is long overdue, but long it may continue.
