Ethiopian president at the UN. Bizarre.

Post by Cigar » 28 Sep 2019, 14:54

Why did she say that Africa needs a permanent seat at the UN security council as if Africa is a country?
What she should have said is "abolish the permanent 5 countries dominated security council" and let all the countries of the world perform a single SECRET ballot vote for any misunderstanding or problem the world faces.
That is the only way these messed up world will get permanent peace.
It is way overdue to abolish this indirect colonization of the world by the interest of these so called super power countries.

Brother Cigar! The lady was inculcated & socialized by colonial mentality since her early school at the French Lice GebreMariam - School . She has been in authority as an Ambassador since the Hailesselase regime. So nothing new is expected from her. If she is given the power, she would start to say Key bahir demachin

The Ethiopian president's recent official visit to the Democratic Republic of Greater Tigray, and her observation of the Digital growth and transformation planning in Tigray moving from a field of dreams to a reality, has consciously helped shape her worldview to support the Tigray-led initiative for reforms at the UN Security Council, demanding a permanent Security Council seat for Africa at the UN, represented by the only truly democratic country in the continent: The Democratic Republic of Greater Tigray.

In my Digital Weyane humble opinion, the relocation of the African Union headquarters from Addis Ababa to Mekelle is a step forward in the right direction.

Fact is that if a hen and an Elephant were to be declared equal and told to jump and graze equally around on a free grazing land in the morning, and we were to make the stocktakeing of their day's experience of being equal at the evening, then we can't second guess how indeed they were "equal", and how good we have kidded ourselves that morning.

Simply because someone would declare you equal can't make you equal, grow the ball and earn the privilege of being equal.

The first step to start that exercise is to ask oneself, in my view at least, about why did we fail to achieve that so far? Could you guess?
