Sadly Ethiopia, Somalia and Djiboutti (our dearly brotherly neighbors) have lost all their 3 games each, in the under 20 Uganda Challenge Cup or CECAFA tournament which is going on in Uganda as we speak and Eritrea is sweating it with the two Sudans representing the football challenged horn of Africa and thus these three countries deserve you moral support for they are not only representing their respective countries but the three loser countries too.
It is sport not freaking war for d**k sake. Be supportive just like we cheer any champion long distance athletes of our neighboring countries like the amazing Almaz Ayana or even Mo Farah.
Our long distance athletes role models are the Ethiopian, Kenyan long distance champions and thus instead of hating just emulate or make Eritrean cyclists and football players your role models.
I mean if these 3 countries under 20 are as bad as they were in this tournament, the future of these 3 countries football is in a big trouble. These under 20 of all the countries who are participating in Uganda are the measuring barometer of the future.
Again, come on now there is no hidden message here. I am serious and I want all of us to represent the horn of Africa in what ever event it is and cheer one another.
