Mekelle International Airport is more profitable than Addis Ababa, which means Mekelle will not need any money from Addis Ababa after 2-3 years.
Tigray is simply an interesting tourist destination.
That there is not direct flight to Mekelle holds many tourists back to fly to Aksum or Geralta or Temben or Mekelle or Wukro or Negash Mosque.
We need to force Addis Ababa to enable direct flights to Mekele International Airport.
