They were not holding the "opposition flag", they were holding the true Sendek Alama of Ethiopia. Besides churches peoe don't make it a practice to display the Satanic Pentagram, only EPRDF does that.

You are wrong. The offical flag of Ethiopia is the multiethnic or federalist flag. We ae happy with the idea that we are multiethnic and the EPRDF flag (the current official flag) represents the multiethnic aspect of our society.

If the Orthodox Church has real concerns for the christians in Ethiopia it should not co-operate with the opposition by carrying their flag.
The current flag of Ethiopia should be used for all occasions. Otherwise you are part of the new anti-Ethiopia group who overthrow TPLF-EPRDF or is in the process of after burning factories, destroying public vehicles, killing people etc.

The Orthodox Church should stand for all Ethiopians, not only for Amhara, which has been the case upto now and the reason for Ethiopians in Southern part of the country to turn their back against the Orthodox Church and join the protestant and Catholic church.
