Even Though I don’t welcome the method of struggle Oromo politicians are using, but it is a high time for we the people, nation and nationalities of Ethiopia to stand next to Oromo people at this crucial time of their fight for the larger political freedom.

Lately, we have been witnessing a tendency of suffocating Oromo politicians and their quest systematically by painting them as Narrow, Behertegna. Tribalist..wezete to corner them from ethiopian political arena.

We have to remember that if Oromos’, who constitute nearly thirty percent of our population, demand is not met and fulfilled, we the rest shall never be liberated and walk as free people; hence, we ought to owe our solidarity for big brother Oromo unequivocally regardless of our political differences.

We will sort out on our differences with Obbo Gaddas after Billisummaa, Inshallah.

It is very interesting discussion. Obbo Girma may sound radical, but he has a lot of valid points though.

Ok, one of many good points that Obbo Gutema has made in this interview is that

Abiy’s administration of ehadeg has acknowledged that largely Ethipian political society has been radicalized along linguistic and ethnic lines and as such the government has been negligent and has not done much work in forging national unity in the last twenty seven years.

By starting a reform package and by emphasizing Ethiopia and Ethiopianism rhetoric in his usual public speech, Obbo Abiy has demonstrated to rectify his party’s past mistakes but unfortunately, listening to his patriotic tune, some Unionist champions have started to bite more than they can chew, they started to dismiss the national question, which was the center of Ethiopian political struggle for the last half century, as if it is less important and tribalism.

The quest of national equality, the rule of law and fair and equitable national resource distribution is still unanswered and valid question to this very day. Addressing this issue and giving its legitimate answer is the only exit to the predicament the country faces, but our Unionists and Zega politician whether knowingly or unknowingly have missed this big picture and trying to brush it aside as if it is Yemenga politics that belongs to Only Obbo BeQele Garba and Dawud Ibsa.

Yeah let us wait and see which end they direct the country to.
