I think they can go global with that brand! Folks like sustainable and durable products. The globe is tired of cheap throw away stuff.

As far as the chickens are concerned, I hope they upscale our traditional "Free roaming" way instead of "modern" volume with small space. Maybe the farmers should be doing that instead of city dwellers. The following is a good healthy way of raising chicken. It is actually our traditional way up scaled. Nothing new here.

I'm not happy with the way chickens are being raised in the cities in Tigray, the plan is only on how to raise massive quantity of chicks without concern to their quality or their quality of life, even though they are not caged like in the west, they are not giving larger space for a free-range movement. Hope they will fix this problem before it becomes a model for every new comer to this lucrative business field. There are countless of such chicken farms in Tigray but unfortunately they are not yet exporting their produce to Arabia and elsewhere.

two thing first the chicken that i see, scanning the video i have no time to witch the full video , the hen look like local veirity ... Ethiopian chicken are very slow growth hen, yes, their meat is test good but they took one to two years to grow (i dont know ) .. on the other hand the imported chicken only took 45 days to grow .... so it is very costly to keep Ethiopian hen,

i am not saying they should be avoided but they should be marketing to adverised how vaulable our hen are and how testy their meat is and charage premium price..

about exporting to Arab countries.. this only be done if 1000 of small farmers come togther and eastablised modern poultery share company and use modern equmpment

about free range chicken that is gooooooooooooooooood but it is very costly hence let people choice let the market choice what kind of method we use because cage chicken are the most productive and cheap way of producing chicken so the poor will have meat one a weak instead of one a year...

some people said even Al Amoudi use to have cage techology but they abaondend it for free range saying the case have smell problem and to keep the chicken happy... but what the Al Amoudi poultery doesnt use is modern german techology that take away the dropping .. the dropping also can be used for fartlizer to grow what the chicken eat and produce biogas to generate electrictiy and make the whole thing run for free if u use solar we will prodcue hen for lower price that only way we can break in to Arab market because they also use modern techology to rise chicken is not like the old day they dont produce nothing they also produce milk and milk proudct this Arab are pushing a head they dont stop and waititng for us... so dont think u will have easy makert in Arab the sad thing is the Arab exporitng juice to us while buying our raw furit and sending us finished goods how on earth we think the Arab are slow like us and try to upsale them ... no time change they r the one who upsale us ..
