If true to their language's natural rules, and were consistent in their style, Amharu should have said Kristian-Bet, and not betekristian…. after all they say timihirtBet and not betTimihrti. Elsewhere, for example: While speaking in their language, Amharu should not say Amba Rasdashen, likewise, they should not say Betgergis, Yimrahana Kristors, betgebriel, etc, which are geez/Tigrigna, in grammar and in usage.
