زيارته للخرطوم اليوم تطور مهم.
Over the past years, I have listened to a large number of Arab, African, European and American figures, but in my humble appreciation, Eritrean President Isaias Afewerki, whom I interviewed in Asmara last year, is one of the most knowledgeable about the details and depth of the Sudanese crisis. His visit to Khartoum today is an important development.

And the leadership of Eritrea also knows our elders were correct. So Tigray will never full us again. Actually, there is no point in dealing with Tigray. The best kind of relationship you can have with Tigray is to have no relationship. That is the only way you can protect yourself and your country from those hyenas.

President Isaias returned home this morning after fruitful official visit to the Sudan. In a six-point Joint Communique issued to the press in Khartoum today, Eritrea & Sudan agreed to enhance cooperation in economic, cultural, military, security, diplomatic & regional matters. Eritrea and Sudan have further established a High Level Committee for the follow-up and implementation of the six-point agreement the two governments have reached following the fruitful visit.
