Leadership is behavior. Behavior has five parameters. Leadership has five parameters. A complete leader will master the following types of leadership. If a life or an organization lacks these types in one person, then, one has to form a committee of those five leadership types.
I: Transformational Leadership
Transformational leadership is a philosophical leadership. The leader motivates and converts followers to his vision and calling. This leader articulates the needs and desires of followers into a set of objectives and goals and mobilizes them to carry them out into effect. Transformational leadership forms its vision based on reality. It is realist vision.
Transformational Leadership, articulated by Professor James M. Burns is a Pulitzer Prize winning masterpiece. Published in 2003, I have been studying the book since June 26, 2005. There has never been a book on leadership as authoritative as this one.

II: Knowledge Leadership
This is the leader as a teacher, the leader as educator. This leader is a theoretician, he knows how society works, knows human and social behavior work and he leads by knowledge. He leads by making his followers aware and conscious of the world. Knowledge leadership attracts strong knowledge driven followers.
III: Servant Leadership
This leader is enabler, helper and servant. This is a strategic leadership; master of ways, means, and risks. This is one who leads by method, ability, skills and strategy. He is a master of course of actions, events and sequence of processes. Strategy is a tool. Servant leader as the skill of the followers is a tool, a servant. For example, Medemer is a strategy. Abiye is servant leader.
IV: Experiential Leadership
This leader is factual, actual, practical, pragmatic and he leads by doing, acting, facts, and practice. Every vision, theory or skill will eventually come down to processing, performing, acting and/or implementing. The 4th type of leadership is called practical leadership. Most philosophical or theoretical leaders lack practical or pragmatic qualities. Most strategic or servant leaders lack either philosophical or practical qualities.
V: Wisdom Leadership
Wisdom is the gift to know the distinction between what is significant and what is not. Wisdom leadership can also be called Achievement leadership. This type of leader leads by asking not why do we do this act. But he leads by asking what are we doing by doing this act. Wisdom leader does not lead by reason or rational but by consequence and meaning.
