Ethiopia should develop Mekelle International Airport and make it the main airport as it is less expensive and more profitable. Addis Ababa Airport will not be the ideal location for internationa air travel. It can be one of the international air ports, but not the main.

Ethiopia should integrate it's domestic flights with international air travel. There should more International airports in Ethiopia. The only air port that serves direct international flights is located in the capital. Regional capital cities of Ethiopia and other major cities have potential more passengers than Chad or Zambia and Kenya together. Develop the regiona airports first than wasting money in Chad or Zambia or Nambia. There is more money if Ethiopia modernises the regional states airports as international airports: Mekelle, Bahir Dar, Hawassa, Dire Dawa, Jijjiga and Nekmpte should be developed as international airports than buying or developing African airports. Ethiopian Airlines should benefit the ethiopian people first and there is more market as Ethiopians can travel to other countries more than other citizens from Ghana or Nigeria. Expanding the regional capital cities as international airport centres should be given priority. Otherwise we will arrest the Ethiopian Airlines mangers for missed opportunies and underdeveloping the regional capital cities airports.
