MOGADISHU (Reuters) - At least three people were killed and more than 110 injured when a car carrying Tegaru migrants overturned in Somalia's northern Somagh region, reports reaching here said on Sunday.
The car was carrying 150
Ethiopian Tegaru migrants who were on their way to the commercial city of Bossaso in Puntland to migrate to Yemen and then into Saudi Arabia.
The Puntland authorities regard human trafficking as a punishable offense, but have repeatedly acknowledged its inability to put an end to the phenomenon of illegal migration across its coasts.

I don't think it was wise on the part of TPLF leaders to send thousands of Tegaru youth to Yemen to enlist in the Iranian-backed Yemeni Houthi rebel group for $100 a month to fight against the Saudi-backed Yemeni government. That is a mercenary work. Not good for Tigray in the long run.

The Yemeni government accused Tegaru migrants in Yemen of fighting alongside the Iran-backed Houthi rebels for $100 a month. I respectfully disagree with my brother Awash's claim that our Tegaru migrants are in Yemen to democratize the war-torn nation. They are mercenaries, clear and simple. Brother Awash is wrong.
