If I were president of Tigray right now, I would have called Afar, Beneshangule, Oromo, Sidama, Wolaitta, Hadyaa and others southern kilils to join me to announce their new education policy. Langauge from 1st to 8th grade mother tongue and English and from 9th to 12th grade Kilils can offer Amharic subject students to take course voluntarily not mandatory and no national exam for Amharic rather I would put English for national exam to strength the quality of educated people to come out from Universities across the country. Amharic is not a national language for any state but for the Amhara state.
