30 years failed social engineering

Post by eden » 16 Aug 2019, 16:54

Youth taken to an isolated Sawa camp so they hear no other world views but the propaganda of HGDEF for decades has produced failure that lasts decades after HGDEF is gone.

This articulation comes from the guest with Sawa background, now Computer Science major in residing in Dallas.

I recently visited Asmara and his point about serious water problem hit me. He says there is a deliberate HGDEF policy to keep the residents busy in their day to day lives so that they are not focused on organizing to change the government. Even those with good toilets and washing machines suffer as there is no water. I was shocked I had no idea before my visit. Apparently, information is sparse as our culture won't allow us to air our dirty laundry. This helps HGDEF look normal government. The same with electricity issue.

You go to government office for paperwork that takes up all day and you are told no bathrooms/ toilets due to lack of water. All this within 2 miles of the President's office.

On the bright side, I have seen better water availability outside Asmera although electricity still an issue. I remembered us buying bottled water before we enter Asmera from our trip to Mendefera as Asmera shops had run out of bottled water.

I brought water issue up with a old wise guy who criticizes government on other issues and he told me Asmera water issue is structural and doesn't necessarily reflect government incompetence or lack of heart and imagination. He blamed the geography basically.

Asmera University building depressed me the most. I can't describe it except to say it felt like a nightmare. The cruel part was it has a small standalone room with a sign: PFDJ Office.

What a shameful ruler!

Border demarcation will be done by the people who live there not anyone from Asmara never heard of it nor Tigray from Mekelle. One thing Eritreans should know that you do not care about Tigray, the same way Eritreans should not expect Tigrayans to expect anything from Tigray, Tigrayans should think what is good for them not for Eritreans. Under Meles the equation was let Tigrayans care for Eritreans but Eritreans should not, that equation is completely reversed now and Tigray had equal right to control Red Sea because the tigrigna speaking people defended the Red Sea for centuries not 50 years criminal Taliyan rule. Tessenne, Gash Setit and Omni Hajor are Tigray lands until the Italians requested to use the regions for grass grazing for domestic animals under Hazo Bayru governor of Shire and they are Tigray land let alon Badme.

Shitaram Meles offered them let the border be decided by the people who live there but the Eritreans know that they will lose because they have a bogus claim and there is no one to say what shaebia wishes to see at the border and they do not want but Addis Ababa. We will tell shaebia go to hell with that and we shall see, should be Tigray policy.

Halafi,

You don't understand the modern rule of law that governs how nation's are recognized as sovereign nation's. It is called international treaties mandated by the United Nations. The UN has recognized Eritrea, and the Haag ruled Badme as part of Eritrea. No matter how much you regurgitate about Melee or whatever it is over. The central government of Ethiopia decides when and how to accept. The central government did the right thing not some regional state with identity issue has anything to say. Meles and company missed the opportunity of accepting it first since it was inevitable. Now, Eden did not bring up that issue. Respect her topic like civilized and learned people do. Stick to the issue. Stop singing boring song over and over again.

Sister Eden,

When agames medias commit their resources to talk about Eritrea, it means pain is growing in Mekelle. You agames are so desperate and you know that your existence is completely dependent on our mercy.. By the way, are you this woman commenting about Eritrea ??? I mean she is from the low land of Eritrea. Anyway, Woyanay Digital Warriors are funny as hell

May God bless Eritrea and the people of Eritrea

Its almost impossible to show someone that they have been had. Even the most elementary logic does not work.

You have to wait for major economic, natural, generational changes.

It took one generation for Hamsien to change from total pro Haileslassie to half and then another generation to become against Haileslassie.

Good point. I think it takes too long for corrections to take place. Generation has to die out with their experiences and beliefs for new generation to correct things based on their experiences.

The interesting thing though is there are still few individuals who live in the same period but think so clear and ahead. Eritrea has to come to its roots and this will happen. 25 years from now, we won't even believe the level of misunderstandings that exists between the two Tegaru elites today in as far as having common destiny.

The irony he´s still not getting is that it´s his sawa background & the free education he recieved there, that enabled him reach his computer science major level to begin with.

I guess, that´s the nature of narcissists.

I think most with sawa background do not reach that level. It would be ironic if his sucess story applies to the average sawa trainee.
