how to control corruption not eliminate but control ..

first let us understand what is the source of corruption ..

to be corrupt you must have power, who have power the government official .. so corruption 99% r concentrate in Government official and workers ... so to solve this problem then we have to look at the problem closely

mostly the government high official have too much power but their salary is way low .. so they going to use their power to get rich quick ... so in order to solve corruption we must balance the power the government official have with the salary he getting.

we can take any example .. let take very simple example traffic officer ...stop u for speeding and u offer him 100 birr (i dont know how much today) chance is r he will take the money.. to solve this problem what we should do is look at this way how much the traffic officer make per month 3000 birr how much he pay rent and many other expense can the traffic officer live his salary the answer is no .. now let try making his salary 10,000 birr and giving him housing that he can pay rent to own.. and tell him if he is caught taking bribe he will lose his housing and his salary.. for sure bribe rate will be reduced to 3% for 98% just by increasing his salary... now if u r smart u will say Ethiopian government cant afford paying everyone ten time of their salary... my answer is Ethiopian government cant afford not paying them.. if Dr. Abiy did not pay them ten time what they worth today they will do bigger damage

now let look big corruption the easy one is sugar factory we spend 4 billion dollar and the project is not even finished 45% and now it is counting ten years and we start paying the interest and we might even need another 4 billion to finished the project.. why this happened because of corruption...

what would have done was we would have given the CEO 1% OF 4 BILLION dollar he would have been working like his own because he have share in the company.. in fact you can give all the workers share in the company this way u will make sure the project finished on time and progress paying back the loan and start making profit so the ceo can get his cut..

now we might think Ethiopian government workers might be 100,000 and if Ethiopia collect 200 billion in tax and if we put aside 5% of that for paying the government worker that might solve many of our problem .. if the problem solved we will increase the tax collection to 1000 billion birr so why do we care how much the workers get as long as we get more then 200 billion birr that was normal before the increase...

do u have any idea how dr. Abiy can stop corruption and we can develop our nation

You can pay 100 K as a salary for a government official or any other employee, then you might be able to serve just the first 1 Million of those in the waiting list of 100 millions in the waiting.

The billion $ dollar question is now, what about the rest 99 or so millions in the waiting list?

Enrich the 1 Million to starve the rest 99 Million? And how would it be sustainable even for those in the 1 Million, forget about the rest 99 Million?


Ethiopia will overcome all of its challanges, considering the inceasing number of young and talented generation trying to be more and more creative, taking it a step further from where it was when they arrived.

So you are telling me Politics in Ethiopia is a poor man's profession. Aboy Sebhat and Abay Tsehay (the Oromo ልክ አስገቢ ገራፊ) are now living on the befits of political welfare. We need a political system where civil servants and elected officials living on their earnings not stealing away from the mouths of destitute poor. Poor and lazy in Ethiopia choose politics in Ethiopia. That was probably why many university drop outs like Meles and X-mass dismissed university students brought a curse upon Ethiopia. They were looking for a short cut in stead of daring a hard work and earning it.

i will give u one example stave job was working for apple and he had a fight and left .. this guy is just one guy.. but the apple was close to bankruptcy when they call him back then he revolutionized the whole world ... my question is if u r share holder of apple do u care how much stave job get.. it is very interesting to see what will happened to apply without stave job.

you don't answer when you are asked but still don't stop trying to act the best forumer here.

You can be the best forumer (intelligent) but the downside of it is also being in a position to try to answer the question put to you, else just kidding yourself.

No one said someone shouldn't be paid more or above any pre-set limit. The problem is you can start paying few (I said perhaps 1 Million of them) in the millions of Ethiopian birr but after that your coffer is empty for the rest of 99 Million and you simply run away from answering the question so far. Didn't you see it?

America can pay in millions for a single individual and still be able to tend to the rest in the waiting list fairly adequately. You are prescribing a copy and paste medicine without telling us what the side-effect of that medicine could be.

in Singapore the average workers salary is 1000 dollar but their pm get 2.2 million dollar
now u cant tell me how much the minimum wage earn in month but USA PRESIDENT GET 400,000 DOLLAR forget about how much he is going to get after office
u dont pay million of people u pay very few selected few U PAY CEO of the company million but not the workers.. the same way Dr. Abiy have only 25 ministers if i am not mistaken USA HAVE ONLY 15 AND Singapore have i think 31 minister level government job ... so u pay those million but the low level worker u pay them ten time what they earn or resonantly high salary so that they can live very comfortably

as i said if policy make 3000 birr first u increase it to 10,000 birr and see how effective it is then u can increase it more depending the economy but the police chief might get ten time of what he earn today.. this is good because he will not be corrupted because he already have the money all he think is work and work.. this donesnt means u get zero corrupiton level i am saying it will reduce the corruption form 98% to 3 % and move us from corruption index to top 20 from bottom 114 rank least corrupt nation out of 175 countries,

The exchange rate of 1 USD in Eth Birr then and now is very huge. $1 = 2.5ETB; $1 = 29ETB. If you use the percent change or ratio, you can see that how crippled the Ethiopian economy under TPLF is. The consumer price index can very well tell you. The problem is TPLF manufacture numbers while mass poverty is out crying.

first let us understand what is the source of corruption ..

to be corrupt you must have power, who have power the government official .. so corruption 99% r concentrate in Government official and workers ... so to solve this problem then we have to look at the problem closely

mostly the government high official have too much power but their salary is way low .. so they going to use their power to get rich quick ... so in order to solve corruption we must balance the power the government official have with the salary he getting.

we can take any example .. let take very simple example traffic officer ...stop u for speeding and u offer him 100 birr (i dont know how much today) chance is r he will take the money.. to solve this problem what we should do is look at this way how much the traffic officer make per month 3000 birr how much he pay rent and many other expense can the traffic officer live his salary the answer is no .. now let try making his salary 10,000 birr and giving him housing that he can pay rent to own.. and tell him if he is caught taking bribe he will lose his housing and his salary.. for sure bribe rate will be reduced to 3% for 98% just by increasing his salary... now if u r smart u will say Ethiopian government cant afford paying everyone ten time of their salary... my answer is Ethiopian government cant afford not paying them.. if Dr. Abiy did not pay them ten time what they worth today they will do bigger damage

now let look big corruption the easy one is sugar factory we spend 4 billion dollar and the project is not even finished 45% and now it is counting ten years and we start paying the interest and we might even need another 4 billion to finished the project.. why this happened because of corruption...

what would have done was we would have given the CEO 1% OF 4 BILLION dollar he would have been working like his own because he have share in the company.. in fact you can give all the workers share in the company this way u will make sure the project finished on time and progress paying back the loan and start making profit so the ceo can get his cut..

now we might think Ethiopian government workers might be 100,000 and if Ethiopia collect 200 billion in tax and if we put aside 5% of that for paying the government worker that might solve many of our problem .. if the problem solved we will increase the tax collection to 1000 billion birr so why do we care how much the workers get as long as we get more then 200 billion birr that was normal before the increase...
