Amaras were cornered to the wall to claim their own. So why cry now & attempt to distract them? Let them be!

Former OLF Lencho on LTV the other day, called Amara Nationalism has risen to a level of "racism" because it started claiming its own; like state forming legacy, culture, Alphabet, calendar etc. after being pushed to the brink of extinction by the narrow nationalists however, when Oromo claiming everything on sight and aspiring to impose Geda, latin Alphabet etc., it is just pure nationalism. Why the Double standard here? It is ridiculous if you ask me.

There is no plausible argument TPLF/OLF stooges can come up with as to why they oppose the Amaras effort to standing as Amaras. After relentlessly persecuting that Amara identity for half a century, OLF/TPLF ended up paving the ground work for the amaras to come together to defend themselves before extinction. It is now becoming a potent force that can check the expansionist and all swallowing Geda or the tiny TPLF which deludes it self in the none-existing grandeur.

OLF/TPLF invented a hearsay about Menilik as a cause belli to label the Amara identity as enemy. Little did they seem to realize that it was a matter of time before the reciprocity comes in kind. Now they are even denying that they even know Minilik and, their main enemy suddenly changed to the claim by Amaras, of their contribution to the creation of the Ethiopian state. As the Amaras keep asserting their rights, the zealots will end up in the defensive as we are witnessing lately.
