In ordinary arithmetic any number divided by zero is undefined and there is a symbol "∞" for that.

e.g 8/0 = ∞

Mengistu had no idea that ∞ is a symbol for undefined.In stead he thought that number 8 was written horizontally. The final exam was fill in the blank and one of the question was 6/0= ? and Mengistu's answer was ၈(he wrote number 6 horizontally).That is why our genius former President Colonel Mengistu graduated summa cuum laude in Economics.

በእርግጥም ያልተማርክ ሰው መሆንክን ዛሬስ አሳየህ The sign you are talking about is called 'infinity', it is the sign of something that is limitless. The word you used 'undefined' is totally wrong. The undefined is represented with 'X', the unknown. Sometimes, it is better and less shaming not to talk about somethnig one has clue about. You don't know the difference between the undefined and the infinite. Why venture to expose your ignorance? And remember, dividing by '0' is illegal in mathematics. So, just give it up !!

Undefined in mathematics has no value. any mathematical sign must be a place holder for defined or define-able ie quantity - some possible quantity or fact. The essence mathematics is that every element is defined has value or will have value. Any symbolic structure may look like math but if it does not have boundaries and limits which is the being de-fined or finite is what math is all about. Get your nonsense out of politikal forum!!

X mean value that is not yet known

2x = 4 u will find the X value by doing math so it doesnt mean unknown

plus is not only X is used for value that is not yet known .. u can use Y or an letter you want

for example 2Y = 4
