3 Tigrean premier league teams will go to Abudhabi for friendship games with Emirati teams.

This is the first of its kind for any Ethiopian teams. This will be succeeded with a major Alnejashi championship between Turkish, Tigrean and Arab teams in the very near future. Tigray has excellent relationship with Turkey and Qatar and now it is evidently improving its relationship with Abu Dhabi and Jeddah.
