What if rabbits bite off the young shoots at night, and wildfire explodes or a lightning strikes them? What if a tornado destroys the seedlings? What if mean kids pull them out of the soil? What if a deadly pest consumes all of the young saplings? What if you choke while hiccuping? What if...,?

I bet that all those clever bureaucrats who told us that they used the latest computer software & apps to count all those billions of tree seedlings have not considered/anticipated the likely scenario where most of the seedlings would be eaten/destroyed by animals using their very low-tech tool: their lips & mouths! .. No wonder blacks make no progress no matter what!
