Mulugeta Lemeneh (PhD), head of Ethiopia programmes at Farm Africa, thinks the figures do not seem realistic and accurate, stating that none of the seed enterprises in the country has a capacity of supplying four billion seedlings.

"The Amhara and Oromia Seed Enterprises, which are active nurseries, do not even supply one million seedlings a year," says Mulugeta. "Unless the seedlings are fodder species, it is very hard to believe the figures."

the question is why do u care? Ethiopia trade this information for carbon emission trade and make billion of dollar why would u under cut your own mama ... beside how this two idiot know the government doesnt know and u seems to trust them more then for million own planted..

just imagine for one second 10 million people all over the nation come out to plant tree seedling it could be in their own home or area the point is ten million come out and planted only 33 tree seedling each that reflected to 330 million tree seedling ... how much money private nurseries beyond question .. everyone make me... this project is just like Nile dam even better then Nile dam this is life and death project.. and u try to kill the monument by doubting the number ... even the number is 20 million still it is great achievement
