Felix has to be kidding!
Who said they're interested in "push back" of "brutality" for some "democratic" principles? It is further from the truth.
Their interest is mainly to contain African army of migrants from spilling over to their own countries.
If anyone doubts that, look at their manner and reluctant efforts of "rescuing" migrants in sinking boats?
There is no doubt higher death tolls are tolerated to teach future migrants lessons. No one can say they lack the resources to save most of boat people who end up dying.
Let us be honest then to ourselves, all they want is give few dollars to poor governments, enabling them to push IDP's, by hook or by crook, back to where ever they come from.

Look, one factor that made Europe a world power was the African slave trade & other exploited resources. They're not willing to give back enough is my point.
Europeans can genuinely demand IDP's to be treated fairly by African governments but, they don't care.
Why is Felix trying to tell us otherwise?
Having said that, Yes, Abiy has a lot in his plate, I don't want to be in his place.
