Two latest Valdai radar systems destroyed near Moscow - HUR

An explosion in the town of Dolgoprudny, Moscow region, destroyed two of the latest Valdai radar systems designed to automatically detect and counter drones around the clock.

That’s according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR), Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that the explosion occurred on the night of February 7 on the territory of military unit 52116, which is responsible for the security of the airspace over Moscow.

“The Valdai is the latest development in Russia's military-industrial complex and is the first model in its class to be put into service by the Russian army,” the report says.

As Ukrinform reported, Ukrainian defenders used drones to destroy Russia’s Osa anti-aircraft missile system.

When Putin started the war in Ukraine, he wanted negotiations with the U.S. He wanted to be invited back at the table of “respected world leaders”.
Now, Trump gave it to him.
He’s willing to negotiate with Putin, shake his hand.
Russians are instructed to celebrate a victory!
Just because the U.S. President talked to Putin on the phone.



Trump knows what Ukraine wants.
Trump met with Zelenskyy several times, before he talked to Putin.
Trump delayed publicly announcing his phone talk to Putin until there was a breakthrough.
I know: what Trump had said in his latest press-chat at the White House did raise more than a few eyebrows.
Some called it, “disgusting”.
Think about it.
If you were a “hunted war criminal” and a leader fearing assassination by your own people and elites, would you fly to negotiate with someone calling you, “a mass murderer”?
Trump needs Putin at the negotiating table.
Putin needs to feel safe to come.

Will Trump “sell our” Ukraine in negotiations?
Ukraine isn’t his to sell.

Will Trump “betray” Ukraine in negotiations with Putin?
Maybe he will — or maybe he won’t.
At the end of the day, Ukraine can always say, “No”.

For Putin, negotiations with Trump is already a major PR victory.
Putin shows his flock that he’s not “isolated” on the world’s stage — the leader of the world’s most important country came to talk to him.

This can play against Putin — because his people have such high expectations about that meeting. They are tired of the war. They want it to end.
For Trump, he just doesn’t care.

If Ukraine doesn’t accept the results — he’ll just say, “I did my best! I brought them peace — they rejected it. Let them find out the hard way!”
Will Trump bomb Ukraine, to force them to peace? I don’t think he will.

And if he doesn’t, Putin is . . . . .

Putin needs peace more than Ukraine does.

- If NATO had promised no NATO expansion in 2021, then there would never have been an invasion!!!

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte claims that Ukraine was never promised NATO membership as part of the peace agreement.

He said this on Thursday in Brussels at a press conference after a meeting of NATO defense ministers, answering questions from journalists.

Rutte said in Washington, NATO reaffirmed its commitment to Ukraine's future membership in NATO. But it was never agreed that when peace talks begin, they will always end anyway, and certainly with NATO membership. This was never agreed upon. It could have been, but it was never clearly formulated.

The NATO Secretary General reiterated that the main task now is to ensure that, whatever the outcome, it must be made sure that Vladimir Putin never tries to attack Ukraine again. This is of decisive importance. Rutte said Ukraine was never promised that they would be in NATO as part of a peace agreement.

Can anyone really see a ceasefire in Ukraine? Do you think Putin actually wants one and what is the end game here because I can’t see Putin just leaving it there?

Putin’s end game in Ukraine is to make Ukraine part of Russia. Any ceasefire — which Russia needs just as much as Ukraine — would be used to rearm and prepare for the next stage of the battle.

Putin hopes — not without a reason — that a massive betrayal by the West would be disheartening to a lot of Ukrainians who lost family and friends in the war.

If the USA now dumps Ukraine — and Europe doesn’t rise up to the occasion — then the Ukrainian society can swing towards an alliance with Russia. Despite the horrors that Russia committed in Ukraine.

You may not see it coming now, but I warned about it for months.

Putin’s war isn’t against Ukraine — it’s against the Western civilization.



Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov: “One of the main reasons for Russia's war against Ukraine is to seize our country, our natural resources and military-industrial complex in order to use them against Western countries in the future.”
Putin needs Ukraine and the Ukrainians as a resource to fight Europe. Putin will mobilize the Ukrainians and send them to fight against Poles, Estonians, Lithuanians, Latvians.

And against the Ukrainians who emigrated to Europe.

The Ukrainians cannot stay out of this fight.
They can either fight Russians now — but they need tools for that — or they will be in the fight, either from the side of Russia or from the side of Europe, in the next war.

Which won’t be too far, if the U.S. and the E.U. both betray Ukraine now.

If the European Union and Britain side with Ukraine — despite the U.S. betrayal (if the U.S. decides to surrender Ukraine to Putin), Ukraine will withstand.

So, it’s really up to Europe now: do they want to support Ukraine in its fight against Russia — or do they prefer to close their eyes, pretend that nothing is happening, and wake up only when the Russian tanks are in their cities?

If Putin is alive and has the ability to wage war, he will continue on his quest to form a major Eurasian alliance led by Russia.

If Europe decides not to side with Ukraine now, they should start learning Russian.
