Work hard to keep Ethiopia landlocked and get $5-10 billion port fee from Ethiopia much like the tiny Djibouti is getting. For that, the skunni scam Eritrea invited China, Saudi Arabia and Egypt to solidify the prospect
Now Somaliland first attempted recognition from Galla lead Ethiopia. They were smart. When that failed due to the animal Gallas lack of diplomatic skills, the waited and got that recognition from Israel, a much better and influencing state. This opens a wider prospect for them winning the hearts of the West and further.
If the skunnis oppose Somaliland gain of traction in recognition, it is because they thought Ethiopia will be benefited from this. Skunni Eritrea is an eternal enemy for all Ethiopians. Be it Galla, Tegaru or Amhara.... skunnis are always working and pitching one against the other just to get all of us landlocked and earn $ through port usage.

Somaliland Vice President (Gadabursi clan from Awdal) Resigns After Israeli Recognition.
The VICE president of Somaliland has RESIGNED following Israel’s prime minister recognizing the breakaway region as a sovereign state.
The disagreement concerns the clauses in the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the State of Israel according to sources close in Hargeisa.
The move comes amid heightened political tensions in the separatist region of Somaliland.
Israel’s announcement marks a rare instance of a senior foreign leader acknowledging Somaliland’s statehood, a step that has sparked debate both within the region and across the Horn of Africa.
