Ethiopia is like one obese person sitting next to you in a bus, but can't stop fidgeting. The problem for Eritreans, is the buss is full and we can't change seat.

If there was an option to be like Madagascar out there in the sea, we would take that option in a heartbeat.

Eritreans are making life difficult for themselves.

They just can’t live a meaningful life without Ethiopia. And they hate Ethiopia for it.

And it must be painful for them to endlessly talk, think, go to, culturally worship and dream about Ethiopia.
Doing that while dying slowly.

Z,
That is exactly my point: you don’t have any options. We know what you would do if you have the options. Well, Ambassador Herman Cohn has suggested one option though: Apply to the US to be a 51st state.

Your stupidity has no boundaries and you will pay the price. A heavy price that will cost you the mini state.

Sadly, the train has passed. The idea of a close economical relationship between the two that will transform Eritrea will never happen. It doesn’t matter how hard you tried with intrigue, intimidation, war mongering and daily blabbering here at ER. It will never happen.

Eritreans do not have wise and visionary leaders. No institutions to study and address the short term and long term interests of the tiny state.
Instead they are full of people that are loaded with old ideology, bravado, arrogance that only knows confrontation.

Enjoy your slow and agonizing death. Live and die by your mistakes. Don’t blame Ethiopia for your failures.

F up,
That wasn’t my quote. You are in deep health [deleted] buddy. I can easily diagnose your problem. You are in a cognitive decline.
BTW you have to work on your attitude.

Remember you can be deported, imprisoned or totally locked out of Ethiopia.
Ethiopia has the key to your future. But with this attitude Eris will not fair well.

There is something fundamentally wrong with a society that produces professors like Fikre Tollesa. Scholars are normally very careful about their public statements. But many Ethiopian professors don't seem to feel an iota of embarrassment when they dish out the most inane claims! I saw recently another man claiming that the pyramids were built by Ethiopian Pharohs! You may remember the man who announced the "brilliant" plan of bringing the Red Sea to Ethiopia by digging an 80km canal! Another so-called scholar argued that since you can see the Red Sea from mountains inside Tigray, it must belong to Tigray. I suppose they have a principle which says whatever you can see is yours!
It is called Dark Age. All of us from or in the region have been living in it.

It is natural for people, including your lot, who have been living in a Dark Age to say ኬኘ የእኛ when they open their eyes out of the Dark Age. It would take time to learn to say correctly የወንድሜ and save themselves from embarrassment.

While living in the Dark Age, did you know about the effort to cancel out Moses’ Egyptian origin?
Who tried to cancel Moses' "Egyptian origin"? Moses was an Israelite who grew up in Pharaoh's household, then with God's help challenged Pharaoh to let his people go and succeeded.

What is your source then, if not the Bible? At least if you tell me that, I can check it and then respond.

As of now though, I completely disagree. He grew up in the royal household and was surely given some title and responsibility, but he was never the Pharaoh. Long before him Joseph was made the ruler of Egypt, because he helped the Pharaoh of his time in interpreting the disturbing dream he had.

Both Joseph and Moses, were Israelites.

The current situation in Addis Ababa has taken a dramatic and almost surreal turn. The Ethiopian currency continues its downward spiral, sending shockwaves through every corner of the market. Prices of basic goods have soared beyond reach, even the humble wheelbarrow has become a luxury item. What was once a slow-motion economic crisis has now broken into a full sprint.

As inflation surges and the birr tumbles, everyday life in Ethiopia’s capital has turned into a struggle to keep up with a currency that’s running faster than the people it’s supposed to serve.

The wheelbarrow economy isn’t just a metaphor. It’s a reflection of a nation caught between mismanagement, debt, and desperation, rolling downhill with no brakes in sight.

Aster Mamo, Ethiopia’s first female Deputy Prime Minister and longtime ambassador to Canada, and acting Charge d’Affaires in Washington, has reportedly sought political asylum in Minnesota, USA.

According to Zehabesha News sources, Aster Mamo is the 3rd Ethiopian government official to seek asylum in Minnesota, USA, joining former Minister of Finance and Economic Cooperation Amb. Abdulaziz Mohammed and former Consul General in Guangzhou, Amb. Ewnetu Bilata Debela.

Meet the Israelite Sigmund Freud who was living in Germany. I don’t think you are more Israelite than him unless it becomes more Catholic than the Pope.

He published a book titled Moses and Monotheism in Germany in 1939, which must have been during the propaganda of the Nazis.

His book was a forensic analysis to prove that Moses was not an Israelite, that he was an Egyptian Pharaoh, that it was that Pharaoh, not the Israelites, that said the chosen people. That means the idea of the chosen people was imposed upon them from without and he implicated Moses for that.

Now, imagine why anyone would publish such a forensic study of ancient history to disown the idea of the chosen people at a time when the people who called themselves Arians started to propagate the superior race for a similar kind of status.

You be the judge after meeting Sigmund Freud.

Then meet Ahmed Osman who concurred with Sigmund Freud and identified Pharaoh Akhenaton to be the Egyptian Pharaoh that Sigmund Freud wrote about circa 1939 in Germany.

Pharaoh Akhenaten is known to be the first documented Monotheist on planet Earth, which makes him the Pharaoh par excellence, at least in my view.

Then meet Horus of this forum who was called upon to correct and complete this history that was thrown at all of us to the south of thee and failed to do so, so far.

It is truly sad if you did not know about this history of generations past and generations to come and thought that you fully understood about the Second World War.

Freud, an Israelite?

He was an Ashkenazi Jew. A khazar. Probably, originally from Ukraine or Poland. And he had syfilis and took cocaine. People with syfilis get deranged and talk a bunch of nonsense.

And you put his words over the Bible?

Man, please shut up. Don't waste my time.

My source IS NOT the old Bible.

A very simple question for you.

Moses was the Pharaoh par excellence.

Use whatever source you may, do you agree or disagree?

My source is the Bible, pagan. What's yours? The demons inside you?

Who tried to cancel Moses' "Egyptian origin"? Moses was an Israelite who grew up in Pharaoh's household, then with God's help challenged Pharaoh to let his people go and succeeded.
Zmeselo:

It wasn’t without a reason that a while back on this forum, I called you uninitiated.

You have come here as a solid proof for my allegation.

Moses was the Pharaoh par excellence, according to at least two scholars.

We will come to that.

For the time being, can you logically say the Pharaoh par excellence was a child in another Pharaoh’s household and rose to challenge the latter?

Put simply, you have become the latest causality of the paradox of the almighty.

Now, you have some logical thing to wonder about for the rest of your life. We are discussing here about world history of generations past as well as generations to come.

What a tragedy? What a revelation?

Henceforth, you have become a student of both the first Renaissance as well as the second Renaissance.

Please let us know when you feel you have been initiated.

Thank you Elias Kifle University. With this thank you, I demand that I be recognized as its Professor because I have been teaching at this University for more than 18 years now.

Of course, I am joking about my demand.
