Re: "The Eritrean people do not honor the day they were separated from Ethiopia" Dina Mufti. Their Day of Mourning
Eritrrans united with Ethiopia out of their own choice by the majority votes in the parliament of Eritrea. The parliamentarians in the Eritrean parliament were elected by ballots cast by Eritreans. To leave no doubt about the lawfulness of the election and legitimacy of the process, the election of the parliamentarians who voted unity with Ethiopia was supervised by the UN and the major powers including the UK and US. The Unity Party of Eritrea that held the majority seats in the Eritrean parliament voted for federation with Ethiopia.
Then, in 1961, ragtag qumta and sandal wraring illiterate terrorists shot at the feferation with Ethiopia in Adal Mountain of Kunama by primary school dropout Idris Awate, then a jobless cattle thief but previously a police during the Italian occupation of Eritrea.

Your arse head is trying hard to get people believe your own lie. Eritrea is not a country, never been a country and will not be a country. The reason: by the will of Eritrea people voted and joined with Ethiopia in 1952; The collusion of TPLF with Shabia ( where TPLF asked eve a favor to take away Assab form Wolo to hide away for its final Abay -Tigray) is illegal. And it is not binding. Above all, almost close to 4 decades passed, but Eritrea is the most sing-a-poor and failed one.
Believe it or not, Eritrea is paralyzed by the polio Shabia. Paralyzed province and desolated land is not a country.

This is the absolute truth. Nothing more or less. The truth is that irresponsible and ignorant Eritrean lawless thugs who failed in education and in life shot at a legally binding federation entered between Eritrea and Ethiopia by duly elected Eritrean people's representatives and the then government of Ethiopia. Each vowed to respect the terms of the federation by confirming it by their signatures.Deqi-Arawit wrote: ↑24 May 2025, 13:05Weizero sheymanesh!Dama wrote: ↑24 May 2025, 13:01Eritrrans united with Ethiopia out of their own choice by the majority votes in the parliament of Eritrea. The parliamentarians in the Eritrean parliament were elected by ballots cast by Eritreans. If there would be a necessity to review the terms and obligations of the federation, anyone party was entitled initiate it. Upon deliberations on the issues raised, the federation could have been improved with additional agreements.
But the illegetimate and violent thugs chose bloodshed and broke the terms of the federation. Eritrea broke away from Ethiopia by violence. The thugs stole the daylight and Eritrea is plunged into the darkness of poverty, tyranny and animosity with Ethiopia. The violent wish of the ragtag terrorists has become of the will of Eritrean people at gunpoints. The Ethiopian and Eritrean people are deprived their legitimate voice to find solutions to the forseen or unforseen revision necessary in the legally binding federation between the two.
This travesty of justice will linger until it finds resolution.
Re: "The Eritrean people do not honor the day they were separated from Ethiopia" Dina Mufti. Their Day of Mourning
Eritrea is, quite unequivocally, a sovereign nation in al aspect . The matter was settled decisively with the United Nations supervised referendum in 1993. That ship has long since sailed. Under international law, your claim to Assab holds no more legitimacy than a claim to Mombasa in kenya that is to say, none whatsoever.
The outcome of the referendum is binding. The fact that one might feel it is not does nothing to alter its legal validity. Eritrea is a recognised member of the United Nations, the African Union, IGAD, and holds observer status at the Arab League. It is a sovereign state not merely in name or on paper, but in practice with defined borders, a government, and a military committed to defending its territory.
International law supports its status, and any argument to the contrary is not only unfounded but also divorced from legal and political reality indeed.

This my be the last time Eritrea province to mourn their separation from Eritrea. You can keep talking UN blah blah, Ethiopia will see if this blah blah comes out to help as it did with Crimea, Gaza, etc. As far as Ethiopia thinks Assab is her natural, historical and legal territory, no earthly power can stop it. Shabia has been exploiting the internal conflict in Ethiopia ( especially best served during TPLF), but it will no more. No one gives damn to the NGO -UN. Ethiopia first, for Ethiopians. Ethiopia cannot be taken to the existence of this NGO called UN - voluntary association. Both UN and AU can pack up leave Ethiopia, if they cannot exist without subjugating Ethiopia. The world has got the awareness now Ethiopia should reclaim her Red Sea - forget this Powerful country say this or that. What Ethiopia says the most.
I know hearing the determination of Ethiopia to regain her Red Sea breaks your heart - but accept this as a new normal.

መሸንቲያም Ascari Deqi-Arawit,
Never hesitate, Ethiopia will scrꬴw your መሸንቲ-land ,anytime. The bad thing, you do not know when.
The sure thing, when the hurricane hits, you will spread your legs. You will bow down faster than your relatives camel - faster than the ብረኪ ብረኪ call. This is not the 1990s where Ethiopians were La'me Bora, out of complete hate of Derg. I guess you tasted how hard and fast their hit was during the Badme-war, you fled like a dog tail between the leg.

Ascari Deqi-Arawit,
Deep in your heart you truly know you are freaking scared of Ethiopia. Your heads out like a lizard here on Ethiopian forum is to deceived some naive ones. You can throw your net 24/7, your will never ever catch anyone from all the 84 tribes, other than Woyane-Tigre. Rain or shine, this time around it is impossible to get a cover from Ethiopia. The TPLF-Fano of Qwara is just a bubble.
As I said before clean your Ascari መሸንቲ-land, so upon arrival you would get a big bang.
You are such a tiny lizard, nothing before the eyes of the giant Ethiopia. Do not even think Ethiopia look the lizard under the rock, Ethiopia will trim the artificial extension Meles Zenawi stole and grafted on Eritrea. Assab will come home, singing sweet home Ethiopia - just like Crimea did - the blah blah UN will watch the event. Of course, you would roll on your back on the dirty streets of the West wailing.
