Why is there so much violence in Ethiopia?

PP cadre Horus is using violence to force blind beggars off Addis Ababa streets, because he thinks the sight of thousands of beggars in the streets is giving the city a negative reputation and image. In regards to poverty, Horus shares the same philosophy as Abiy, which says, "killing poor people will end poverty in Ethiopia."

Abiy Ahmed only controls a few city blocks in Addis Ababa. The rest of the country is under rebel hands.
