Abere and ጥሌ tried hard to find a crack and slip through. But, they failed miserably. Yes you are right. overwhelming majority of Raya are Amharas and that is why there is a resistance not to be part of Tigray. As to what you said about proper tigrayans moving there, you are 100% correct. Infact, you would be surprised to learn that Tigrayans (Both male and female) deliberately chose to marry Rayans to create a beautiful/handsome gene pool and offspring for their children. This is almost the same as Oromos chose to marry and have kids from Amharas. The beauty of BeteAmhara both men and women is something everyone agrees with. So in the Tigrayans case, they want both the Gene pool and the fertile land. Much of the Tigrayan instagram models are mix of Raya and Tigre. It is an established fact in Tigray.

I see your transformation over years and months. Glad to see you are a good observer on events and historical contexts. What you said about Wollo is right. And the way you related Wollo to Gondar is also good. Gondar went through years of hybridization and there is a large hybrid Eritrean, Tigrayan and Qmant society there often helping TPLF in the past and now OPDO. The reason Gojjam become the hotbed of the resistance is because it kept its hom0geneity to the highest degree than Wollo and Gondar. I am not against inter marriage and inter mixing in principle. There is cultural and genealogical enrichment through intermixing. If there was poll with no propaganda and enforcement l guarantee you the Eritreans would vote they were better off with Ethiopia under kingdom era than today. Ask Tigrayans if they would be better off with Tplf. The same thing. Tigrayans have been slaughtered by Tplf since it creation . And a propaganda enforced on them they could pluck the star.
