You don't want to hear reports of religious violence, in particular Christian violence against Muslims. In your estimation, such news reporting or re-reporting or discussing the news must be censored. You and I had argued on this.
Secondly, you oppose all questions regarding the right of nations(political term) or ethnic groups(sociological term) to self-rule in Ethiopia. You regard this racism. because you believe in one-ness of humanity within the borders of present Ethiopian polity, you won't have a problem if, for example, a Tigray or Somali or Amara rule Gurage. You may also add that its against the tenets of equal humanity to insist to use and develop one's language while a developed language already exists.
Just come out in the open and delare you secret.

Don’t make a mistake.
I did not say I support muslim oppression or violence against them. Interestingly I even have a muslim family but they are not political muslims. violence against a belief wherever it is and in whatever form has to be condemned. People should have a fundamental right to religion but it should not be promoted in violence. It should not be a security risk to a country or society. Having said that, Orthodox church was more at risk at this time due to hate politics than muslims who were actively asking a right questions in the previous government. Currently the violence and mismanagement abuse the system is perpetrating on particular civilians is a priority. If you have recent evidence of abuse of your religion, it is your right to say so and post evidence
Cheers
I re-reported Christian violence against Muslims female school children in Gunchirye(Inor=Enenemor), this year. Some died, somme injured, some imprisoned. Many imprisoned. You described it as political Islam so that religious violence would be censored, not discussed.
I re-reported the burning of 8 mosques in Muhir Gurage on a Sunday by Orthodox Christians going to Sunday Church services. You also argued this was a political islam, a jihad to make Gurage an Islamic caliphate.
When I brought up the burning of the machines of a Forestry Farm in Gurage, owned by a Slite Muslim investor, you also rebelled against it saying that it was an attempt for a Muslim political power.
It's your right to hold strong views about your faith but why would you choose to be an unjust person to please Christ? And hurt Gurage victims of violence who seek the sympathy of every peace loving Gurage.
Silte, officially reasoned, that because it's a Muslim community, it was appropriate to separate from the Christian Gurage. What they ran away from is their perceived Gurage Christians' extremism or persecution as a result of it. Kebena is almost 100% Muslim. It is fighting a gorilla war for independence from Christian Gurage. Both have lost hope of living in peace, according to their conclusions, with Gurage Christian extremism.
Unity of Gurage is already at risk as you can learn from the actions of Silte and Kebena. Anyone who has Gurage unity at heart has to deal with this fear of Gurage Christians fanaticism. The best way to deal with this fear is to discuss it in the open using and condemning religious violences, whichever of the two groups commit the crimes.
I am seeing similar views of yours with regards to the right of Ethiopian nations to self-rule as subjects an empire. You're what you're because of circumstances of life. If you grew up in a family spread across many ethnic lines, from Amara, Oromo, white American, Indian or French, the combined experience these disparate individuals will contribute to your identity. The determinant identity would be the language you speak with them. Most probably you would like your children to speak and write your language in addition to other beneficial languages.
I was born in Chaha Gurage, near Gubrye, from both Gurage mother and father. We did not know any other language than Gurage. Obviously, I learnt Amharic and English in school. Probably, I would have learnt Arabic if my school offered it. Is it racism, according to your belief if I insist that my children should learn Gurage in school, speak and write it. Is it racism, hate of Amharic or English, if I demand Gurage should be a medium instruction in Gurage schools, in Gurage public service, in Gurage media, etc? Is this what you term zeregnet?

ዳማ!
ጉንችርየ was my middle school! I can check what you said.
I still have some people in Inor. Really speaking unless it is a late development you are telling, the Gurage people I know never had a friction between muslim and christian or pagan as religion is taken as more of a personal choice. People worship their own way but live and work together and oftentimes cross-marry.
Churches have been burnt to the ground in Silte and monks killed. Silte people can’t blame the rest of the gurage for going their way. They are so tribally knitted and they actually believe they are either leftover of Gragn or even they say they migrated from Arabia. So I don’t buy their reason that they are pushed by gurage bs they are muslims.
About your choice of guragina over English and Amharic for your kids is your choice. If were a national planner, I would reinforce Amharic and English together with mother tongue at early stage as these are a the language widely spoken. People to spread, travel and go arround the world they need to speak a widely spoken language. Arabic, French and Oromifa are worth considering to know based on need by individuals planning to work in those regions/countries.
If Gurage society comes up with a common intelligible language, as a person I have no problem. Even before that, there is a lot more that needs to be done to unite the people. There is a big problem with unity. Those areas close to Addis and Oromia may have swayed or even incentivized and bribed away from Gurage due to benefits they get from Oromia as well as Oromo federal gov. That is how they partly manupilated the gurage request of being Kilil.
Any ways, I have no problem gurage works out and deals its social issue by itself in a civilized manner for better cohesion, cultural and economic development which should be the right of any ethnic in the country under a national legal and democratic frame work which is non-existent now as chao reigns.
