Ascari

Stop running your mouth and get the facts

You were servant to the Aksumite empire after you migrated to Axum as day labourers from yemen- world historians said that, not me!

that is when you learned Geez from Amaras and Agews who were more of your masters. But both Amaras and Agews dropped Geez by intention due to religious reasons, you atheist still got your yemeni blacks background in you, where you came from.

You are migrants, that is why you have NO civilization of your own you can show to the world that you built. No books, no buildings, no cities, no history of your own except the 666 years of slavery you went through. NONE!

Remember, there was not tigrigna language in east Africa before the Axumite empire. Keep that in your ascari head

Stop lying, history will hunt you down like it did to the oromumas. አሳ ጎርጓሪ አለ

Gurages are ancient

Horus,

Take a break, my friend. You are losing it. Eritrean Tigrigna is about 50% Geez. Eritrean Tigrayt is about 75-80% Geez. I speak both of them. That you, who only speak Amharic, which is at best 30% Geez, should feel more connected to Geez is really bizzare.
What bothers people with common sense is the way some Ethiopians love to claim anything they wish whether it is theirs or not. Is that a disease or what? The fact is, as sesame alluded, the closest language to Geez is as follows:
1) Tigre (ትግራይት), (the second most widely spoken language in Eritrea), and parts of the Sudan.
2) Tigrinya (ትግርኛ), (the most widely spoken language in Eritrea), and parts of Ethiopia.
3) Amharic (ኣማርኛ) (the farthest semblance to Geez), in that order!
That is the facts on the ground - no matter how much whining and denying you do.

Let me ask the delusional HIGDEF cadres one question, so they don’t continue to drool over made-up history.

Until the Italians converted Asmara to a city, there was basically no other inland city in the entire region although the trade route from Asia to Aksum runs right through the heart of Eritrea via Massawa & Adulis. Even Asmara became a city only after the Italians occupied it, which they called as such only seven years later. They initially called it “Nuevo Etiopia”. Likewise, there were only a few huts in Keren before the arrival of Italians, European traders & subsequent introduction of a railroad system. Keren is now the 2nd largest city and yet the tiny city of Debre Berhan is three times as large. Why didn’t an autochtone urban system evolve before the arrival of Europeans?

Union the Agame,

First, master the Tigrigna language before you claim Geez. First lesson, stop saying ለለ።

Speaking of Geez/ፊደል/Ethiopic/Sabean Alphabet, here is a very simple question for serious thinkers for general knowledge.

It is about a simple word: ሮሮ።

If I am not mistaken, the same word is used in both ኦሮምኛ and አማርኛ። I am not sure if it is also the same in ትግርኛ።

The first question is if anyone knows where, when, and by who this word was spoken for the first time in human history. That is a very tough question, especially for the cadres.

The second question is if anyone knows where, when, and by who the spoken word ሮሮ was represented using written symbols, which we call alphabet today. That is also a tough question even though it is simpler than the first one.

Here is the third very simple question. How did representing this very simple word diverge in three languages?

ሮሮ: Geez/ፊደል/Ethiopic/Sabean Alphabet
rorro: Latin Alphabet
rorroo: Qube

Does the pattern from ሮሮ to rorro to rorroo show a progression or regression of thinking? Who were more genius? Those who invented how to write ሮሮ or those who broke ሮ into ር and ዐ to separate a vowel from a consonant or those who adopted rorroo to write ሮሮ?

sun, can you take a try at the third question, which is the simplest to answer?

BTW, what is the official name for Geez/ፊደል/Ethiopic/Sabean Alphabet? It seems that various names are used here and there for it.

sun,

Why do I think that this simple question is, if not the most important question, one of the most important questions that you have been asked your entire political life?

Prove me wrong by answering it.
