Absolutely Brother Misraq, I am aware of it well but we were trying to give them chances. We know what to do anyway!

They dance to the blameless FANO today then to their killer oromuma tomorrow  they do it to anyone anayway

I have been trying to be passive but if they are directly fighting us like this, it will be a different story. We will start to view them as they should be

If Ethiopia's ownership of a Naval Base is their worst nightmare, they sure will see that bad dream coming true. And they will be very much upset more than they are now. This is an elementary test that proves what kind of Ethiopia they have been wishing to see - weak, marginalized, land-locked, easy to manipulate using mercenaries, faking, spreading internal discords, etc. These are what they wanted to eternalize for Ethiopia, but everything is now collapsing under their feet for they are treacherous, insincere and greedy. How is Ethiopia having access to the sea hurt them, unless they themselves are hatching more disaster to inflict upon Ethiopia? The fact of the matter is, Ethiopia sure have Navy Base and access to the sea. No earthly law can stop this. And those of us failing for short-term interests must be careful not be locked out ourselves because of falling into the false traps of our enemies. An arch enemy first creates more enemies on its enemy- that is why so much unclarity prevails among Ethiopians, some lumps the quest for Access to the Sea with Abiy Ahmed and others yet make this as a stand alone national sovereignty agenda. The fact is, it is impossible to short sale national sovereignty interest for a short term political interest. Let Ethiopian Navy Roar in the Red Sea and the Gulf!

Sense of responsibility is lacking in your comments.
I don't know what you've started smoking lately. But your thoughts don't add up at all.

First, it has never been a question of ownership of the port that has been the main issue.

Ethiopia is accused of having violated agreed upon agreements both with its neighboring country Somalia and regional and international agreements that exist between nations.

In all fairness, I don't think, this is Abi's idea to begin with, but as usual the British are behind it. They love to leave behind unquenchable fire.
and they are good at finding scavengers.

Otherwise, no one in his right mind enters into such an agreement to lease a port for 50 years solely for use by a Navy. According to Somaliland, the agreement is only about the use of port for navy and not for trade.

How is this good for Ethiopia? One might ask. What will happen with all the investments that was made for Naval base if Somaliland refuse to renew the agreement.

Or is the idea once well established to throw the agreement into the sea and challenge Somaliland to dare throw the navy out from the port.

Guragie Horsee,

The Somali Land president said, Navy Base for recognition. Absolutely not for sea port.

Dark-Agame,

You are making some progress now  You recognized Somaliland as a sovereign country- good you are accepting the reality. Next, you have to wait for what will be unraveled in the detail.

I don’t have the capacity to recognize Somali Land. To me, all Somalis are good people, including those who live in Ethiopia. BTW, look out for the Shebab problem. Ogaden is huge, and fertile for the Alshebab to take charge. At least, the Agames attempted to deal the Shebab problem in Somalia. Your deceitful Galla master may have to deal with it in Ogaden. That is what is worrying the Americans besides the violation of Somalia’s sovereignty. If the Shebab spreads wings in Ethiopia, your Galla-Guragie behind will be in danger. The little twerp knows this. He will not recognize Somali Land.   I do sympathize with all Somalis, including those in Somali Land. Let the Somalis solve their own problem.

The Somali Land president said
Dark,
A good start. Somali Land is a country with its own democratically elected president.
Your next step is accepting whatever decision they make for the interest of Somali Land. That is your only choice.
It is that simple.

Dark Energy,
Go back and read my post. I have in fact argued why SLP (somaliland Republic) would find it foolish to create another port in Adal only to weaken the commercial value of Berbera. The deal is Navy base in Adal and port use in Berbera. Now don't forget SLP is not giving us free base and port. SLP needs not only recognition but electricity, share of EAL and drinking water. So Ethiopia may offer SLP a deal it can't refuse for a port in Adal. The Adal movement is already getting into the money game. That is another factor. They want to commercialize Zeila port which was once an Ethiopian port. All in all the a nice complex game is shaping up.
