What is permanent is a close friendship between Ethiopian nation and the nation of Somaliland. If tomorrow, Abiy retracts its support for Somaliland nationhood, there will be other counties that will recognize it. So, any intelligent Ethiopian must have this clear perspective. Yes, today our recognition might speed up Somalilanders acceptance into the UN but even if Abiy disappears tomorrow Somaliland will continue on its course.

That is untrue. Despite Russia’s loss of pipeline gas exports to Europe, they have managed to export all their oils with domestic or non-Western foreign shippers. Their oil sell before the war was like 244 million metric tons and they sold 242 million metric tons in 2023. And if Trump wins the election, this whole Russia embargo will be turned upside down. Europe is currently held hostage by US.

The status quo of colonial states of Africa ( created after 1945 ) cannot be upheld. Had "independence" from former colonizers ushered new era of progress and stability, Africa would not have been in persistence war, poverty, and dependence on their former colonizers. This means the Africa has to go back to the drawing board to demolish colonial treaties, boundaries and coined names of their states. The "independence" of all these colonialist created fake African countries in reality are still under the indirect rule of their former colonizers. For instance, the Africa-Italy summit, Africa- UK, etc. etc. summit is a pure witness, these states are not freed from colonization. Thus, Africa should be freed from colonization and all colonial boundaries and treaties be null and void.
